Bandhavgarh National Park Safari:
The best time to visit Bandhavgarh National Park is from October to June. The Core Zone remains closed during the monsoon season from July to September. The Safari Timing for visitors is from sunrise to sunset, and visitors can do jeep safaris or elephant safaris too during this time. The park is divided into Core and Buffer Zone, and visitors can choose to go on safaris in any of these zones. The safaris usually last for about three to five hours, Morning safari is for a longer time, for five hours and the afternoon safari is for 3 hours and visitors are accompanied by a trained guide by the Forest department and we can also hire Naturalist who helps us to spot animals and birds. We can also do Full day safari, which is Taken for the full day and we can enter any of the core or buffer zones.
Core Zones :
The Core Zone is the main area for the safaris where the wildlife and natural resources are strictly protected by the forest department and the probability of sighting is more in Core Zones, Core Zone remains open from 1st Oct to 30th June. Core Zone also remains closed every Wednesday afternoon and on Diwali and Holi dates.

There is a perennial spring from the feet which fills up the lovely pool in front giving the whole place a mesmerizing look. This is the only place in the park where you are allowed to get off your vehicle.
